    • Project 2 (Packages 3 & 4) is under construction. Minor sitework and interior work is in progress until Summer.

    • Huckabee team has completed the organization of the information received from the Registered Accessibility Specialist and delivered a draft of the spreadsheet containing all of the data to KISD. The district is currently reviewing the list of potential project scope items and prioritizing them to determine how the budget funds will be spent.

    • Facilities met with Huckabee for ADA project review.

    • Accessology has completed their field work and reports.
    • Huckabee team is nearly complete with generating solutions for deficiencies and related cost estimating.

    • Accessology continues their assessments of the campuses in the district. To date, they have the field work on 20 campuses complete.
    • Huckabee team has begun the effort of determining design solutions to the deficiencies noted in the assessments and estimating cost for those solutions.

     
    July 27, 2018

    • Accessology, a Registered Accessibility Specialist firm, has teams doing on site assessments of multiple campuses in the district. To date, they have the field work on 11 campuses complete.
    • Huckabee team is organizing information received from Accessology and beginning the process of generating solutions to the deficiencies identified in the assessments as well as estimating the potential cost of these solutions.

     
    July 10, 2018

    • KISD Board of Trustees approved a contract with Huckabee for Accessibility improvements district-wide.

     
    June 19, 2018

    • Conference call with Huckabee and Facilities department to discuss ADA project scope and planning.

    • KISD Board of Trustees approved Huckabee as the Architect.
