Killeen ISD Teacher of the Year Favorite Thing About Teaching

My favorite thing about teaching is building positive relationships with my students and a family environment within my classroom. I love seeing the strengths of my students revealed during lessons and seeing their faces glow when they finally "get it". I love being able to have fun. My most favorite thing is when I have to discipline a student one day and the next day, he comes into class telling me all about the accomplishments in another class or the family member that came to visit. It lets me know I'm doing something right. My students know I care.
