• Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) Instructions:

     

    Students are required to take the PAA on their own; students should spend less than 30 minutes on the PAA.  Students must complete 2 videos and 10 Sample Questions for ELAR and Math; the answers DO NOT have to be correct. The student WILL NOT advance until all practice test questions for each subject area have been attempted and you must advance to receive the certificate of completion. 

     

    If you DO NOT complete the PAA prior to the test day you WILL NOT be allowed in the testing room. 

     

    How to access TSIA2 PAA in ACCUPLACER

     

                   

    • Create an Account using your personal email (save username and password for your records)
    • Log on with your credentials
    • Click on Texas Success Initiative 2.0 Pre-Assessment Activity (TSIA2—PAA)
    • Click on Begin Pre-Assessment Activity and complete

     

     

    Upon successful completion of the PAA, students will receive an email confirming completion along with a copy of their PAA Completion Certificate.

    The TSIA2 will be offered at HHHS for free on days posted at the bottom of this page.  Space will be limited.

    You must complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) before you can take the TSIA Test. 

    On TSIA2 Exam days, students should report to the testing room by no later than 8:45 AM to check in and be seated. 

    Students must bring the following:  KISD ID, pen or pencil.  If a student has not checked in by 8:45 AM, they may lose their seat.

    Please make sure your parents are aware that they will receive a call from the Attendance Office that you were absent from class while you were taking the TSIA2 exam. Your absence will be cleared usually within a week after your TSI exam.

    If you are a CCPM student, you may need to make alternate transportation arrangements due to the length of the test.
