Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am happy to serve another year with the students, families, and staff at Brookhaven Elementary. I have worked for KISD as a teacher and administrator for the past 13 years and have truly enjoyed my time spent with students and their families in growing young minds. It is my passion to be part of developing a love for learning in every student. Prior to my career in education, I served 20 years in the US Army, making central Texas my home after retirement.
Our theme for this school year is “Brookhaven: Be A Hero!- Helpful, Engaged, Respectful, On Task". Brookhaven ES is well known for providing students with rigorous content and the skills needed to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We want to continue with a growth mindset as we all move forward in closing academic gaps and addressing the needs of students. The staff at Brookhaven recognizes the importance of working collaboratively with parents to provide students with a positive educational experience.
