Mrs. Kimberly McDowell

My name is Kimberly McDowell, and this is my nineteenth year in KISD. I am beginning my eighth year as the Campus Instructional Specialist, prior to that, I taught kinder, second, third, and fourth grades. I received my Bachelors and my Masters from Texas State University. GO BOBCATS! I also received my principal certification from Lamar University.

It’s going to be a great year for Killeen Elementary! I am so excited to be a part of the Joey family. My goal as an educator is to help each one of our students reach their own maximum learning potential. I enjoy guiding children to think, question, and discover new things every day. My aim is to help make this year as enjoyable, successful, and memorable as possible!
