AMMS Information

  • Parents and Guardians,

All new and returning 7th and 8th grade Audie Murphy Middle School students are invited to campus on Wednesday morning, August 22nd, for Readiness Day.  This is a come-and-go event where students can receive a copy of their schedule, have their ID card pictures taken, and get assigned a locker.  New students can also receive a tour of the campus.  8th grade students are welcome to come between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on this day.  7th grade students are welcome to come between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

Falcon Camp, for all new 6th grade students, will be held in the afternoon on the same day, August 22nd.  We are expecting a large turnout for this event, so we are asking parents to drop their 6th graders off in the bus loop in front of the school no later than 1:00 PM.  School personnel will direct students inside where they will participate in team building and Readiness Day activities.  Students will be available for pickup starting at 3:45 PM in front of the school.

All parents and students are invited to come back the following day, Thursday, August 23rd, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for Meet the Teacher.  If necessary, students will be able to pick up their schedules, have their ID card pictures taken, and get assigned a locker.  Parents and students will be able to meet with teachers and coaches.  Counselors will also be available if there is a concern about a schedule.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.  Go Falcons!
