Mr. Kinsey

After growing up in North Carolina, Clyde started his life in education by joining the Army at the age of eighteen and traveling the world. He has been stationed and deployed to many locations around the world, including South Korea, Kuwait, Iraq, South Carolina and finally settling down after 6 years at Fort Hood. Clyde completed Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training and a Noncommissioned Officer training course. He attended several colleges in various locations around the world and was finally able to stay in one place long enough to graduate from Central Texas College with Associate degrees in Applied Technology and General Studies. He has a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems from Excelsior College. Clyde also has a Master of Education from Tarleton State University – Central Texas. Clyde started his career in education, teaching at Eastern Hills Middle School. While working very hard and exhibiting leadership qualities, Clyde was selected to be the Math Department Head. After serving the Eastern Hills Middle School Community, Clyde received an opportunity to serve as the Curriculum and Instructional Math Coach at Smith Middle School. The experience at Smith Middle School prepared Clyde to receive an opportunity to serve the Charles E. Patterson Middle School Community as an Assistant Principal. Clyde is married and has four children.
