Hi! My name is Misti Wetzel, and I am the Guidance Counselor at Meadows Elementary for grades 3rd and 5th. This is my 7th year at Meadows. Before coming to elementary, I taught Special Education for grades 6-8 in Killeen ISD. I have been in education for approximately 14 years.

I am excited about this school year as I get to meet and work with the students at Meadows. Through not only Meadows but KISD, we pride ourselves in building relationships and helping students reach their maximum potential through character education. We are excited about all of the counseling support staff here! We provide various social and emotional groups for students at all grade levels including a deployment club for students who have one or more parents deployed overseas. In addition, we also sponsor a leadership club for 3rd through 5th grades known as eS2S (Elementary Student to Student). I work closely with the teachers to ensure that the individual students’ social and emotional needs are addressed on an as-needed basis.

I am here to help the students be successful and look forward to working with your children and to be able to get to know them throughout the school year. I will leave my contact information below.
