The dance curriculum in Killeen ISD combines the art of dance with other disciplines to provide opportunities for students to dance and study healthy living.  Middle school dance programs are offered during the school day at Charles Patterson, Jimmie Don Aycock, Nolan, Rancier, and Union Grove Middle Schools. Each middle school also has a dance team that provides students the opportunity to compete as well as perform. 

Killeen ISD high schools offer Dance I-IV as well as highly competitive dance teams. Dance teams are by audition only and participate in activities each year including football season performances, contests, and spring shows. Dance team tryouts are held in April of each year.  High school dance students receive a fine arts and/or physical education substitution for dance.
