Killeen High School Announcements

    • Seniors: Cap and gown prices will increase this Friday, March 6th. Order yours now at www.texashj.com.
    • If you or someone you know is interested in performing in the school wide talent show, come audition March 18th after school in the auditorium. Auditions will take place from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. To receive more information, stop by room 123. The talent show will be on March 31st.
    • Juniors and seniors who are taking the SAT on March 25th, come to our SAT Study Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays before and after school in room 109! We will have practice tests, flashcards, and online help available!
    • Seniors: Come to the counseling office to apply for the KISD Board of Trustees scholarship. Someone has to win the money, might as well be you!
    • If you are interested in taking dual credit and have passed the TSI please see your counselor for an application.
    • Prom King/Queen and Prince/Princess applications will be available outside of Student Activities after Spring break.
    • Did you know that throughout his life, Frederick Douglass went from a runaway slave to a diplomat with the United States government? Incoming Juniors and Seniors can learn more about Frederick Douglass by taking Mrs. Cook's African American History class next year. See your counselor to sign up.
    • Attention JROTC Cadets:  JROTC Staff would like to congratulate all cadets that participated in the Best New Cadet board. All of the cadets did a great job and represented their companies well.  The following cadets participated in the Best New Cadet Board. From Alpha Company Cadet Private First Class Jackson Capra, from Bravo Company Cadet Private First Class Alyssa Webster, from Charlie Company Cadet Private First Class Michael Capps from Delta Company Cadet Private Ayla Johnson and Echo Company Cadet Private First Class Alexander Cowell. The winner of the Best New Cadet Board of the 3rd Nine Weeks is Cadet Private First Class Jackson Capra from Alpha Company. To all cadets that participated, keep your head up and always strive to be your best 100 percent and then some.
